About Balaka
Our Story
Balaka began in 2008 with a simple idea: to create a place where Bengali families in Noida could celebrate Durga Pujo together.
Named after Rabindranath Tagore's Balaka, a symbol of grace, movement and homecoming, our association has grown into a year-round cultural community. From Durga Pujo and Saraswati Pujo to music, theatre and neighbourhood gatherings, every celebration is organised by volunteers and built with love.
Appreciation

Balaka took part in the UN and UNESCO workshop on making Durga Puja accessible to persons with disabilities and reduced mobility, and has committed to making our pandal more welcoming for everyone.
